At first we all had to get used to the cut of the suit, but after a little while it became very comfortable to wear. The entire set consists of a jacket and pants for the summer and a Goretex jacket and pants for rainy or cold days. The protectors fit snugly in the summer jacket and trousers. In the temperature range between 21°C and 25°C the summer jacket is enough, if you ride for a long time below these temperatures we recommend putting on some sort of wind stopper underneath. It is usually still to warm to put on the Goretex in these situations though. With temperatures between 25°C and 30°C it is still ok to ride with just the summer gear even if you get stuck in some traffic. Everything above 30°C is very warm and you need to look for an other option to cool down. A cooling vest or a quick jump into an ocean usually does the trick ;)
On longer journey every motorcyclist will find himself in a rain shower eventually. The rain coat is, thanks to easy to open zippers, simple to put on over all your other gear. You never have to take of any of the other clothes to do so which is very practical. And it successfully keeps the water and wind away from your inner clothes. When you put on the jacket it does help to invest a little bit more time to close all the zippers and buttons, that way you can be certain that the Goretex membrane keeps you sheltered from the harshest of weathers. Basti and Denis love the fact that you put the Goretex Jacket over all the other clothes, Fabi still prefers putting a waterproof membrane under the jacket. Packing size of the Goretex outer layer is of course quite a bit bigger than of an inner membrane. On the upside the inner membrane will never keep you as warm as an outer shell.
The way the protectors fit in the jacket and to our bodies is incredible each and every time we put the gear on. It does not matter what you have planned for the day, a long highway stretch, hardcore offroad or anything in between the jacket will never get uncomfortable to wear. The protection is always at the right spot and the dimensions of them is perfect and will you keep save if you happen to have an accident.
We have put an magnetic 12V Adapter on the side of our bikes with it we can charge the Sena 10C through our jacket while we ride. You can find more about this on our Electronics page.
